Boston Celtics are a professional basketball team and one of the seven teams in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
The Celtics play at the FleetCenter in Boston, Massachusetts, and wear jerseys of green and white. The team’s mascot, the leprechaun of Irish folklore, represents Boston’s strong Irish-American heritage.
One of the most successful and celebrated franchises in professional sports, the Celtics have captured 16 NBA championships since their founding in 1946.
From 1959 through 1966, they won eight titles to establish the longest streak of consecutive championships in United States sports history.
The Celtics have faced the Los Angeles Lakers ten times in the NBA Finals, establishing one of the best-known rivalries in professional basketball.
When I saw the match of the Celtics I was really amazed ( althought it wasn’t an official match!)
And in the break.. the cherleaders were very fun!
