Today was an ordinary day.

We went to the High School and spent the whole afternoon seeing matchs of different sports.

Here everybody pratice a lot of sports and my host sister has volleyball trainning everyday!

Hi!

Today has been a very funny day!

In the morning Raquel and me went to the school where my american mother works, a kindergarden!:)

Children were so nice!!We taught them some words in spanish and we played with them! But we only spent three hours in their school because today was release day and classes finished at 10:30.

After, we went to the High School and at 5… CELTICS match!

It was wonderful!We were so amazed..:D See a NBA match was a dream for us!(the majority of the spanish students played basketball)

The Boston Celtics won the NY Knicks (101-61)!

We even appeared in the big screem on the basketball field!!:D

[16/10] Newport day!

Hey!!

Today has been a very nice day!We have had a trip to Newport, a Rhode Island’s town!

It was wonderful!!

At firts, we visited the Breakers’ mansion!I had never seen a house like this!Luxury in all the corners!It was really enormous!!And with a very big garden!

After that, we saw Rosecliff mansion!It was beautiful but I prefere the first one.

The view of the sea was really wonderfull =)

In Newport we had free time, we ate and we walked..I love this town!

We have had spanish classes for all day!!:) We were talking with the spanish pupils, helping the teachers, etc..

And in the afternoon Laura and me went to Raquel’s house!

I had a very good time with them!Becausee..they are the best!:)

Hello!!

This day I was very tired..I only slept 3 hours!!

In the morning Vara, Xuxi, Helena, Kristen and me went shopping!I bought a lot of things (the majority, clothes!) and we ate pizza.

At 5, we went to the Bowling!It was very funny! (althought I’m the worst bowling player in the world) We took a lot of pictures

&… the weekend has finished!

My birthday!!! At last sixteen!

In the morning I went with Kristen to the supermarket. We bought cookies, chips and a very big cake!:)

At 3, everybody was in my house!We played football, guitar hero..and my friends gave me beautiful presents!

After that we went to another party in Tatiana’s house, it was great!

Then, a lot of girls went to Andrea’s house (Javier and Xuxi too) to “sleep” !

This was the best night!We talked, sang, danced..it was very funny! We slept at 5 a.m.!

Hey everybody!

At last Friday! The best day of the week!;p

The school, like everydays; but in the afternoon Xuxi, Andrea, Kristen and me were seeing Pirates of the Caribbean, The Curse of the Black Pearl I love this film!

Also, we went to a buy icecream, it was delicious!

What do you think about american families?

- What differences have you seen between American and Spanish schools?

- The timetable and the subjets are very different. The students don’t use bags for their books; they have lunch at school and their classes last more than an hour (80 minutes).

- Ok, and what about the families?

- The children practise a lot of sports and the parents both work.

- Have you got used to American timetable?

- More or less, they have lunch and dinner earlier than us (in Spain) and thay also go to bed at night and wake up in the morning very early!

- And do you think their meals are healthy?

- I think they eat too much fat. They should eat more fish and vegetables and stop eating so much meat!

Helloo!

Today has been a rainy day!and..nothing new! The classes today: spanish with Fran Olano, maths, gym and history.

In the evening, Xuxi and me have been watching another volleyball match I love this game!

In the afternoon I saw the Legally blonde musical in the TV!

It’s about a rich young girl whose boyfriend goes to study to Harvard, he brokes with her because he prefers the intelligent girls. She wants him to notice that she is not a stupid blonde… 

Really funny!:)

Hello everybody!

Today has been the second day in the High School. Kristen and me have had to be at school at 7:15 because she had a meeting of the student council.

The first class was spanish (at last!a class where I understood everything!). There I have helped some students to write a dialogue.

The second class was maths, my host sister had an examn.

Then, Kristen had band! I think is great to have this class in the school.

And the last class was History (like everyday)!

We (Xuxi and me) spent all the afternoon seeing voleyball matchs of the Milford Teams.

It was amazing!

 When we were going back to home.. we could see the gardens of all the houses in Milford…smiling pumpkins, scarecrows, and a lot of Halloween adornments … here they really live Halloween!
